Choosing a Videographer

rightlt1

Here are some handy tips to consider when choosing your wedding videographer:

  • Ask to see samples of weddings and make sure you like the style of the videographer

  • Two or more cameras are better than one. If opting for a one-camera production, make sure the Videographer carries an emergency backup camera

  • Your Videographer should look and act like a Pro and should work well with photographers, caterers and other professionals

  • When it comes to editing, nonlinear computer based editing is the industry standard. Digital cameras and wireless microphone systems should also be used by your videographer

  • Does your Videographer obey the rules of the Ceremony and Reception halls? Respect for other people's rules is important to a professional and in no case should they cause a scene when something doesn't go their way.

  • Insist on meeting the Videographer who will be the one you will be dealing with on your wedding day. Get the names of your videographers in writing so that there is no last minute switch to a less experienced videographer - also insist on seeing work filmed by your specific professional
